Key Accountabilities

Day-to-day duties:

- Conduct exhibition specific research of artists and artworks
- Lead guided tours for visitors
- Assist with administrative and organizational tasks
- Assist with implementation of Education and Public projects.                                                                         
- Coach volunteers and introducing them to the collection and temporary exhibitions.
- Monitor volunteer attendance and reporting to Educational Coordinator

Safety regulations

Gallery guides are the first in line of security in museums. This aspect of the job includes
- asking people to not stand too close to artworks, refrain from touching the art, and keep hold of young children

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required(education in art or other, soft programs knowledge, technical skills and etc)

- speak, read and write fluently in Azeri, English and Russian
- understanding and interest to learn about contemporary art
- ability to work in art environment
- good presentation skills
