Today we are looking for a qualified “Linux engineer” to join our team.
Job responsiblities:
• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure;
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and
system management tools;
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability;
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify
possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes;
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies;
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and
lower the human intervention time on any tasks;
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
Skills:
- 3-5 years linux administratition skills;
- Very good understanding of web app and server security;
- Solid experience in building highly reliable server architectures;
- Experience with MySql;
- Networking knowledge/experience (TCP/IP, Load Balancing & Routing);
- Scripting / Automation;
- Experience with monitoring systems(Zabbix, Nagios);
- Experience with Virtualization(Vmware);
- Preferred: VoIP experience, Security mindset.
Qualifications:
- Linux (Centos 6/7, Debian/Ubuntu, FreeBSD);
- Nginx, Apache, Tomcat;
- MySQL;
- NFS, GlusterFS, Clusters;
- OpenVPN;
- HaProxy, ModSecurity;
- FreeSWITCH, VoIP;
- DNS, BIND.
