Job Title:  Intelligent Automation - Single Point Accountable

Location: KCAD Baku Office

A vacancy exists for an Intelligent Automation - Single Point Accountable position, as part of the Onshore/Offshore Business Unit.

This role will be part of the Operations Maintenance Department, working on behalf of the client, reporting to the Projects Team Lead.

The candidate will have overall responsibility for creation and delivery delivering breakthrough projects and technologies on behalf of the client to enable Caspian drilling assets to excel, through the next decade and beyond.

Primary responsibilities of the role are (but not limited to):

• Management, control and delivery of major DCMS upgrades, modifications and improvement projects, managing OEMs, vendors and delivering all required products as part of the project process;
• Providing clear accountability and a point-of-contact for the project delivery process;
• Oversight and approval of all OEM, vendor and third-party documentation, activities and end-products, ensuring adherence to the project criteria;
• Providing clear accountability and a point-of-contact for the project delivery process;
• Working within the overall framework of the client OMS and eMoC system to ensure compliance at all stages;
• Mentorship, oversight and guidance of other project personnel (such as the IA Coordinator and third party personnel), to manage project workloads successfully.
• Indirect supervision and frequent alignment with Systems Upgrades personnel and operations, to ensure that upgrades are coordinated and performed in alignment with the larger project execution strategy.
• Close cooperation with the client M&T function and operations & maintenance teams, to ensure that project delivery satisfies the goals of the function.

Key personal attributes required:

• Proven track record of excellence in successive engineering roles, demonstrating motivation, diligence and flexibility;
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of drilling systems maintenance and upgrades, knowledge and hands-on experience of all platforms and equipment in the ACG & SD fleet;
• Ability to work cooperatively and productively with a number of stakeholders in critical projects;
• Demonstrable commitment to professional development, preferably at or working toward Chartered Engineer status;
• Knowledge, and experience of project management techniques (PMBOK, PMI, PRINCE2), and experience in management & delivery of small/medium sized projects;
• Excellent verball and written English skills, ability to communicate clearly;
• Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Project) skills, proficiency with CAD, PLC, drive and assorted automation & proprietary software.
