Business Development and Sales Manager

Experienced in sales and promotion of industrial goods, oil & gas equipment, spares and consumables.
With general awareness about key potential customers in the region
Experienced in tenders and bidding process
Able to handle multiple tasks / priorities
Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
Research and build relationships with new clients
Key contact with regards to commercial business growth and sales development
Support and engender good customer relations internally and externally
Support in solution design for customer requests in complex priority cases
Conduct customer visits
Meet and identify potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging company network
Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals
Plan approaches and pitches
Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
Participate in pricing the solution/service
Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion
Ensure implementation of new services in line with customer expectations and needs
Initiate development of products that meet market demand, by identifying opportunities and then communicating with Product and Sales teams
Provide input on service elements
Plan, coordinate and define the sales strategy and pricing for new and existing customers
Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately
Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships
Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels
Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner
Prepare regular reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, preferably MBA
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in related  Field, preferably in EPC companies
• Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills
• Knowledge of Azerbaijani (Fluent), English (Fluent) and  Russian (Fluent)
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Result and detail oriented
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Team player
