Audit Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complies with Member Firm CPD requirements.
• Assisting senior staff in Auditing financial statements and other accounting records in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA), and other applicable frameworks.
• Demonstrates a sufficient understanding of the client’s business and industry and accounting and internal control systems to perform an effective and efficient audit.
• Applies analytical procedures during the planning, fieldwork of the audit.
• Understands the audit planning process and is able to develop the audit strategy.
• Evaluates correctly audit differences.
• Identify accounting and auditing issues
• Prepare audit paperwork in accordance with standards and requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or auditing or the equivalent
• Readiness for intensive work and learning
• Advanced knowledge of Azerbaijani, English languages
• Manage multiple and rapidly changing priorities
• Communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing
• Have strong problem-solving skills and be assertive in challenging situations
• Good communications skills and initiative
• Proficiency in using office applications: (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, Outlook);
• Ability to work as a part of a team
• Be able to take business trips

PREFERRED:

• Governmental or compliance auditing experience
• Professional certification(s)
