OI/HSE MANAGER

General Conditions:
 
Work is Based in Baku
Work schedule: 5/2 days a week
Salary: Determined after the interview
 
Countries to be managed: Azerbaijan
Global and country management is highly commited to HSE questions. Health and Safety is to be seen as a cornerstone of the SGS mindset. All employees must identify potential hazards and evaluate the risks of them. Risk management is fundamental and helps lead to improved productivity, higher levels of innovation and it delivers economic growth. For 2018, we want to continuously improve the HSE environment towards our “Zero Incident” target. 
Integrity Management System (OIMS) is a single corporate management system to manage Health, Safety, Environment, and related requirements.
The OIMS aims to: Improve staff, contractor and site health and safety by imposing minimum standards uniformly across the Group.
Improve and enhance SGS commercial success with tenders while retaining existing clients and customers.
Significantly reduce direct and indirect losses associated with major systemic deficiencies related to Safety, Health, Quality, and Environmental management.
Reduce costs related to current administration of multiple management systems.
Coordinating and supporting of regional Operational Integrity (OI) activities;
Define, conduct and lead OI relevant projects and tasks in alignment with global OI strategy;
Implementation of global OI strategies, programs and tasks on sub-regional level.
 
GENERAL

Technical Bachelor’s degree
NEBOSH IGC,  IOSH,  Auditor ISO-14001 and OHSAS-18001
Legislation of Azerbaijan Republic related to the scope of activity , applied standards and internal normative documents in Health and Safety
Fluent Azerbaijani, Russian and English
Good computer skills in Microsoft Suite
 
PROFESSIONAL

3 years experience on relevant position.
 
Ability to assess the HSE performance by developing and/or using existing tools; prioritizing risks and influencing factors;
Ability to evaluate the correctness of root cause analysis and the effectiveness of proposed solutions;
Ability to develop a strategic (long term) HSE rollout plan for different countries following a global OI strategy;
