UNICEF Azerbaijan is seeking an experienced Finance Associate
(GS6 level, Fixed-Term Appointment. Vacancy № 01/18)

As Finance Associate, you will be responsible for providing a variety of specialized tasks in finance functions, ensuring accurate and timely delivery in full compliance with UNICEF financial rules and regulations. It is also required to demonstrate the capacity to research, adapt, evaluate irregular cases and recommend improvements to process delivery and design.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-      Completion of secondary education is required with professional/university level courses in Accounting and Finance/Business administration considered as an asset.
-      A minimum of six years of clerical experience in the area of finance and accounting is required.
-      Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel is required.
-      Experience in SAP is an asset.
-      Fluency of English and local language of the duty station are required. Working knowledge of another UN language would be an asset.
-      In addition, we would consider prior experience working in the UN system or other international development organizations, to be beneficial.
This position is only open to citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
