A private trade company is currently looking for competent candidates to fill the following vacancy in its new project:

Textile Category Manager

Areas of responsibility:

Product selection and procurement
Stock level controlling
Analysis and reporting

Job duties:

1. Identify customer preferences and forecast consumer trends
2. Evaluate supplier options according to prices, quality etc. and determine the best choices
3. Discover and purchase new products and check the quality and popularity of those already on our shelves
4. Negotiate terms of agreements to achieve the best deal for our company
5. Ensure the timely delivery of products and compliance with the contracts of purchase
6. Monitor stock levels and make plans for buying within budget
7. Create reports on sales, budgets and customer satisfaction and adjust strategies accordingly
8. Forge and maintain trust relationships with suppliers to promote fair dealing
9. Understanding the basic rules of vendor management, allocation and price negotiation
10. Visiting fashion shows and trade fairs to look for new products

Requirements

Education:
Recent exposure to buyer in retail (textile)sector, marketing and sales will be an added value.

Work experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead role as buyer in retail sector. Strong purchasing systems and process knowledge and expertise

Languages:
The candidate should be fluent in Azerbaijani. Good understanding and speaking in Turkish .. English is a preference.
