Sales Account Manager

Responsibilities:

To develop existing customer relationship and to identify and win new business using Face to Face selling and negotiating skills to grow the business by increasing volume and margin. The position encompasses the full life cycle of account management including competitor analysis: developing proposals, budgets and accounts: establishment of strong working relationships and utilizing other areas of the business to ensure success.

Accountabilities:

 Gain new customers and manage existing customers on all levels, commercial, financial and develop Account Management plans.
 Establish, develop and manage win-win customer relationships by building and maintaining relationships with key customers at appropriate levels with measured outcomes.
 Deliver value propositions and account implementation plans to add maximum value to both the customer and Petrochem.
 Monitor credit receivables to ensure they stay within agreed targets for all nominated customers.
 Maintain in-depth and current product and industry knowledge.
 Monitor key competitors in the sector and understand their strengths and weaknesses in order to maximize sales opportunities.
 Understand and keep track of changing customer needs, customer structures and the business environment. Using specific knowledge of the customers operations and processes, develop proposals that provide significant process improvements or cost savings to the customer and profitable and sustainable business to Petrochem.

Skills

Understand key account management in terms of customer relationship management and customer service management (as opposed to just selling). Strong analysis and problem solving ability. Track record in delivering results and achieving business/sales targets. Drive, self-motivated, high on achievement; result-oriented, able to work under pressure and a clear challenger. Working knowledge of both B2C & B2B sectors and distribution channels. Demonstrated ability to identify and improve service offerings in line with customers - operations and processes. Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships and work in a team orientated environment. Strong negotiation skills that support gaining a growing share of the customer's wallet. Previous experience in managing complex stakeholder issues and complex account plans highly desired.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering studies is preferred;
• Minimum 3 years’ B2B sales management and/or Business Development experience preferably in Oil & Gas, Marine industry;
• Excellent communication and networking skills;
• Demonstrates a good knowledge of HSSE standards and practices;
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages;
• Good PC skills;
• Driving License (Own car is preferable);
