Quantity surveyor/Estimator
Quantity surveyor/Estimator is responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
o price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
o prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
o track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly
o procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
o measure and value the work done on site
o liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
o select and/or source construction materials
Other duties
o Perform other duties as assigned;
o Preserve confidentiality of the company’s business activities and customer information;
o Co-operate with the management of the company in order to achieve legal compliance and meet our own Quality, Health & Safety and Environment standards;
o Not take risks which could affect own or other persons’ Health and Safety.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree in Quantity surveying, commercial management or a related construction subject
5 years experience as a Quantity surveyor /Estimator
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Quantity surveying, commercial management or a related construction subject
• Language skills preferably bilingual (Azeri/English);
• PC literacy (MS Office Programs, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills).
