QA/QC MANAGER

Responsibilities:

• The preparation / review of the company Procedure’s and supervision of all amendments and revisions to Quality Management
• To be representative of the projects and has the responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system
• Monitor all quality related activities on the projects
• Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the company management
• Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals
• Attend all pre-bid meetings and coordinate all project requirements with the project bidders and client quality management meetings
• The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement
• Review quality personnel qualifications and training requirements
• Monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports
• Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site QC engineer
• Coordinate all quality related correspondence with the customer representatives.
• Monitor statistical method reporting. Action and close all customer complaints.
• The coordination and resolution of any nonconforming product Reviewing vendors QA/QC systems in accordance with contractual requirements
• Ensure the verification of documentation and certificates for materials purchased by vendors
• Control all archive documentation upon the completion of the project and distribute all the company quality documentation
• Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure quality performance in different areas of work development and at various project Phases.

Requirements:

• 10 years QA/QC experience
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline preferred
• Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, Quality Auditor, and/or Quality Engineer a plus
• Experience with ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
• Previous experience in construction is advantage.
• Must have basic knowledge of the construction processes involved in heavy industrial construction.
• Certification of quality control is a strong advantage
• In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
• Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
• Multilingual (Should have excellent English & Azeri writing, reading & speaking skills);
• Software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook).
