Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understanding and supporting Bank’s business philosophy and objectives;
• Doing all within his/her ability to meet targets set by supervisor and work unceasingly to enable DemirBank to meet its goal;
• Conducting all activities in compliance with DemirBank policies and procedures;
• Performance of the evaluation of immovable and movable property, using one of the three approaches (market, income and cost) or their combination;
• Performing the inspection of the goods with a view to identifying, establishing the existence of the characteristics, endowments and technical condition of the goods under valuation;
• Stating market price variability of immovable and movable property ;
• Studying market demand for immovable and movable property and stating for determination of liquidity;
• Verification of the accuracy of the information and data contained in the external valuation reports;
• Identification of discrepancies between legal documents for considered property and its actual status (unfinished construction, not registered objects, deviations in land plots, locations, etc.).

Qualification and requirements:

• Higher education in economics or finance;
• A thorough understanding of appraisal methodology;
• Experience in evaluation (private evaluation companies or relevant bank department);
• Good computer skills;
• Knowledge of English or Russian;
• Azerbaijan Appraisal Association membership (desired).
• High level of loyalty towards the employer;
• Tenacious individual with strong communication, problem-solving, relationship and consensus-building skills and a high degree of personal initiative and attention to detail;
• Capability and willingness to take responsibility.
