Job title: Rope Access Technician (Level 1, 2 or 3)

Work location: Offshore

Experience:  Minimum 2 years Rope access technician experience in the Oil and Gas industry
Knowledge: Fluent in Azerbaijani; good English
Certificates: IRATA (Level 1, 2 or 3) certificate is essential, BOSIET certificate is desirable

Duties:

Rope Access Technician carries out the rope access techniques in order to gain access to the work areas, in a safe manner using a mix of rope access skills.

 Rope access technician is to work as part of team and required to carry out the rope access tasks as assigned
 As part of the team, the Rope access technician is expected to do a pre-use safety check on the rope access equipment to ensure personal safety at all times
 It is a mandatory requirement that Rope access technician is capable of using rope access techniques in a safe manner to be in a position to carry out the primary role
 Actively participate in Task Based Risk Assessments to identify additional risks or hazards involved in the work scope prior to work commencing. 
 Ensuring correct valid work permits and associated paper work are in place prior to work commencing. 
 Attend daily tool box talks, understand what the work scope involves, and discuss any changes to the work or worksite. 
 Ensure all plant & equipment has been fully safety checked and function tested prior to use.
 Carry out daily safety checklist on the worksite and stop work if any aspect is unsatisfactory 
 Performs other duties relevant to competency level
