HVAC Engineer
Qualifications/Work Experience Required
Bachelor degree in automation, mechanical, electrical or electronic
Minimum of 3-5 years’ of skilled mechanical and facilities maintenance experience that has included: heating and ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration, mechanical and boiler, operation, maintenance and repair work.
* Strong communications skills
* Strong maintenance skills
* Strong English language knowledge
Duties for mechanical systems
Operate, repair, maintain and diagnose building systems and equipment such as; boilers, heat pumps, heat exchangers, water heaters, HVAC control systems, Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems including chillers, water treatment system, package and split A/C units, cooling towers, compressors, pneumatics, direct digital controls, emergency generators, circulating pumps, fan units, and others.
• Perform and develop preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
• Respond and coordinate repairs to building systems and equipment.
• Read construction documents and specifications, shop drawings, operation and maintenance manuals.
• Respond to building emergencies and after hour calls for repair.
