Chief Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Compliance with Azeri and International GAAP
• Focal point of contact for tax queries, tax returns and audit management
• Accounts payable process
• Accounts receivable process 
• Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.
• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
• Advising on the improvement of financial management system, internal control system, the use of financial management software, the medium-term and program budgeting
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual budget execution reports
• Supervision the day to day operation of the accounting
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance,.
• 3 or more years of experience on Chief Accountant position.
• Ability to work in a multicultural diverse environment and under pressure;
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information in a sensitive and tactful manner
• Fluent knowledge of Azerbaijani and English .
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a multicultural diverse environment and under pressure;
• ACCA, CIMA certificate will have additional preferences
