Cost Control Engineer

Job Description:

·                     Maintain, monitor and control project budgets, through Project Controls system, and issue variance reports on monthly basis
·                     Follow cost control procedures and code of accounts.
·                     Perform cost analysis for construction activities.
·                     Maintain, monitor and update the Change Control Registers.
·                     Issue Monthly Cost Reports and Cash Flow (In/Out)
·                     Perform trend analysis and advise project management team of any deviations from budgets and recommend corrective actions.
·                     Reconcile all variances between budget, actual costs and revenue to facilitate accurate project profit forecast and timely identification / preparation of contractual claims.
·                     Coordinate with Finance department on posting actual cost and issues related to asset register. Controls of assets/material transfer from/to project site.
·                     Perform cost analysis and monitoring procedures, data and information for the project;
·                     Provide detailed monthly cost reporting for the project (Planned Value - Earned Value - Actual Value) in accordance with applicable corporate policies and procedures;
·                     Identify in advance the potential risks from the cost-economic point of view that may affect the project’s budget;
·                     Analyze the cost variances between expected and incurred costs and verify that the economical result of the project is in accordance with the approved budget;
·                     Explanation of any deviations from the approved budget providing a detailed analysis of cost variances;
·                     Prepare and monitor monthly pay applications for Subcontractors;
·                     Prepare and monitor Client quantities for monthly production and certificate;

Skills:

·                     Degree in Civil Engineering and Construction;
·                     Minimum 3 years of construction cost control experience;
·                     Experience with large Construction Firms preferred;
