Mechanical Project Manager

Responsibilities:

 Supervise, mentor, motivate and provide direction to engineering staff consisting of engineers and technicians;
 Prioritize projects and activities for direct reports and contractors/consultants if necessary;
 Subject matter expert for mechanical engineering and mechanical systems;
 Provide technical guidance and engineering support for a variety of cross functional activities from project initiation to product launch to sustaining engineering;
 Familiarize with design, fabrication and assembly of conceptual models, prototypes, tooling, motorized test fixtures, data acquisition systems and physiological simulation equipment;
 Work on complex technical electro-mechanical problems where analysis of data requires an in-depth evaluation;
 Apply sound judgment and structured problem solving approaches to determine appropriate solutions for complex and diverse issues and projects; Cooperate and coordinate with other departments, such as Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Marketing to analyze and resolve problems.
 Negotiate with project managers, other functional departments and management to resolve conflicts and bottlenecks affecting projects;
 Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, international compliance standards and company procedures;
 Preparation of reports, product investigations, root cause analysis, design control, preparation of requirements documents, design verification and validation as well as technical design reviews for hardware and software.
 Oversight and guidance for projects involving the evaluation, fabrication, modification and design of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems;
 Ability to make critical judgments and decisions;
 Technical proficiency commensurate with organizational level;

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Industrial, Commercial and Residential building projects.
• Minimum requirement would be a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering.
• Fluent English.
