Baltika-Baku Brewery is seeking for Marketing Director

Baltika-Baku is the largest beer producer in Azerbaijan with a market share about 74%.  Our portfolio of brands includes the following popular beer names such as Khirdalan, Tuborg, 33 export, Kuler, Afsana, Jigulyovskoe, Baltika, Guiness. We are constantly enhancing the number of brands each year.

The overall objective of the Marketing Director for Baltika Baku is to improve the performance of our key brands. The Marketing Director will work closely with the local marketing team on both operational and strategic level and will be the member of the Baltika Baku Management Team.

The Marketing Director will together with the rest of the Baltika Baku Team be responsible for driving performance in the markets through joint ownership of business plans and their execution.

The focus of the position is to

Together with local teams ensure that winning portfolio strategies are in place in all markets. That plans are vigorously executed and adjustments are made when necessary to deliver performance;
Support the development of key Local Power Brands and facilitate the implementation of activities on our International Premium Brands;
Responsible for leading, developing and implementing the brand strategy, market research, communication strategy, media planning and promotion strategy for all Beer portfolio;
Manage activities associated to all marketing efforts, including project management, creative development, cross-functional implementation, campaign tracking and reporting as necessary as related to brand development and performance;
Inspire colleagues in local markets with best practices and make sure they are used;
Facilitate / ensure implementation of growth and efficiency programs;
Coach and develop a staff who will part of the team.

The right candidate must have:

Minimum 5-8 years commercial FMCG experience mainly in marketing management;
A strong track record of delivering high-end commercial results;
Experience with working internationally, within matrix organizations and with a variety of cultures;
Good analytical capabilities and a high degree of numeric & financial acumen;
Strong influential and coaching skills;
Personal drive. Must be a “self-starter”, able to deliver results without constant direction from others;
The ability to effectively structure and deliver content in written, oral, and formal presentations;
Good work ethics, proven success track record in marketing development;
Perfect mastery of Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages
