The Sosial Fund for Development of İDPS (SFDİ) of the Republic of Azerbaijan,an implementing agency for “İDPs Living Standards and Livelihoods Project” financed by the İnternational Bank for reconstruction and Development and the Government of Azerbaijan,announces the following vacancy:
Micro-finance Programs Manager Assistant (MFMA)
Requirements and Qualifications:
1) Education
A university degree in the area of social sciences and engineering (minimum bachelor degree);
2) Experience and Knowledge
• At least 2 years of work experience with IDPs and refugees;
• Familiarity with participatory approaches such as community consultation would be an asset.
• Experience in design and implementation of social and economic development support projects for socially vulnerable groups would be an asset.
• Experience of community work or working with community-based organizations would be an asset.
3) Other necessary skills:
• Fluency in Azeri and Russian (English is an advantage);
• Excellent computer skills (MS Windows, MS Excel, Word);
Consultants will be selected in accordance with the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (January 2011).
