Interpreter (Russian-Azeri-Russian)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate effective communication between two parties by converting Russian (spoken or written) to Azeri and vice versa;
• Check translations of technical terms and terminology to ensure that they are accurate and remain consistent throughout translation revisions;
• Attend conferences and meetings and act as official interpreter to mediate discussion;
• Convert written materials from one language into another;
• Create a new text in the target language that reproduces the content and style of the original;
• Edit and proofread text to accurately reflect language;
• Employ computer-assisted translation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
• Bachelor or master degree in Translation or related field;
• Strong MS Office skills;
• Fluent Azeri & Russian is a must. An intermediate level of English is an asset.
