Job Title: Programs Coordinator
Location: YARAT
Reports to: Artistic Director
Key Accountabilities
• To plan, manage and execute the projects.
• To assist in development a general concept for the projects in collaboration with the Head of educational and public programs and the Artistic Director.
• Coordinate and guide installation and promotion of art exhibits
• Organizing equipment hire and ensuring correct installation of the artwork;
• To prepare and control the expenditure budget for the projects
• To propose and champion initiatives to add value to the organization
• Attracting and coordination of a new audience
• To train and coach young people for new initiatives
• General activities related to day-to-day running of the Space
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to Line Manager
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
• Minimum of 3 years in programs leading and coordination (preferable in Art)
• Knowledge of Art exhibition coordination and management (Skills in organization art projects, exhibitions and etc)
• Skills in working with artists and artworks.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Exceptional creativity and responsibility
• Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Creative thinking ability
• Good analytical skills
• Art Education if preferable
• Proficiency in using office applications: (MS Excel, MS Word)
• Proficiency in budget management
• Fluent in speaking and writing in English, Azeri and Russian
