“PASHA Bank” OJSC is seeking a Corporate Secretary Assistant for its Head Office.
ABOUT BANK
PASHA Bank is one of Azerbaijan’s leading corporate banks. Established in 2007, we offer all major financial services, including investment banking, trade financing and asset management to a range of clients, from large corporates to small and medium enterprises. The Bank works particularly closely with companies operating in the non-oil sectors of the economy, including agriculture, transportation, construction and retail, which are vital for helping Azerbaijan to diversify its economy.
MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• The end to end management of board, committee meetings;
• Guiding and supporting directors with respect to legal and regulatory compliance obligations;
• Actively identifying and helping the Secretariat Manager to manage corporate governance risks
• Planning and delivering projects assigned by the Secretariat Manager
• Assist the Secretariat Manager in developing and implementing systems to strengthen the delivery of company secretarial service
EXPERIENCE
• At least 2-3 years recent experience within a Company Secretariat function;
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, International Relation, Economic or other related field.
SKILLS
• Knowledge of financial services regulation;
• Candidate should be fluent in all 3 languages - Azerbaijani, English, and Russian. Also, should have good writing skills and good knowledge of banking/finance;
• Proven ability to communicate with, influence and gain the commitment various levels of seniority;
• Proven technical understanding and strong practical experience of company secretarial and corporate governance best practice;
• Experience of drafting reports to Boards and ability to challenge report authors.
