Head of IFRS Reporting division
OJSC VTB Bank Azerbaijan
OJSC VTB Bank Azerbaijan is seeking an individual with professional attitude for the position of the Head of IFRS Reporting, who will be responsible for preparation of IFRS financial statements and IFRS reporting, liaising with external auditors and supporting the reporting team in other reporting matters.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Preparation of quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS;
Liaison, processing of queries, collection and provision of information to external auditors;
Presentation of IFRS reports to the Management Board with an analysis of main items;
Calculation of adjustments and preparation of transformation file with required comments;
Regular evaluation of IFRS reporting processes in the bank to assure timely and high quality reporting of the bank;
Assist the Reporting Team in closing all audit matters on time;
Provide support in preparation of IFRS and management reports in accordance with internal bank formats.
Requirements:
University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics;
3+ years of experience in audit (preferably in Big4 with exposure to bank industry);
Understanding and knowledge of IFRS is essential;
ACCA/CIMA/CFA part-qualified/students preferred;
Fluent in Russian, Azerbaijan and English (written and verbal);
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages;
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team;
Ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
