Reservations and Revenue Manager
The revenue manager will ensure highest potential revenue is achieved on a daily basis by identifying trough and peak occupancy and by using effective and tactical rate management. Daily management of room type allocation and communication of customer to guest services. Production of daily/weekly/monthly forecast.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Carry out and submit all required forecasts of occupancy, room hire membership, rate and yield in order to provide accurate management information at corporate and hotel level.
• Maintain records of all relevant historical data in order to compile the annual budget
• To implement and carry out rooms revenue procedures in order to achieve and exceed budgeted yield premium.
• Develop and maintain effective communication practices within the revenue generating areas to ensure all associates are well informed, in order to support the achievement of key organisational strategies.
• Ensure maximum data collection for future mailings/promotions.
To work in conjunction with Director of Sales, Food & Beverage Departments and Marketing to create packages for Valentines, Easter, Christmas and New Year.
• To host a weekly yield meeting to analyse in detail the next 3 months business and ensure tactical strategies in place to maximise rooms potential.
• Daily revenue meeting following morning meeting to specifically review the next 7 days occupancy, rate, revenue v budget/forecast with the General Manager and Director of Sales and to give an overview of strategies in place.
• To set room rates in conjunction with Director of Sales.
• To produce weekly and monthly forecasts.
• To manage the internet and GDS in terms of rates, close outs, loading rates and completing RFP's on line.
• Responsible for overbooking/advanced outbooking.
• To allocate members of reservations team to co-manage key leisure accounts in conjunction with Leisure Sales Manager
Qualifications :
• Previous customer related experience preferred
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written), second language an asset
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset
• Must possess a professional presentation
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
