Job title: Maintenance Officer/Supervisor

Baku Shipyard LLC is looking for Maintenance Officer / Supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities:

To assist the Maintenance head in the maintenance of the various equipments such as lifting equipments, forklifts, compressors, generators, chain blocks etc. in the yard;
To lead and supervise the workers in the daily upkeep, maintenance and updating of the calibrations and certification by independent parties in the maintenance log book;
To ensure that all equipment and yard facilities are maintained in good conditions for use in the execution of the work for ship building and repairs;
To requisite, procure and ensure sufficient tools, equipment, spare parts are kept to support the daily operations.

Requirements:

• A diploma/high school certificate  with at least five (5) years direct working experience in shipbuilding or offshore industry with minimum 2 years in supervisory position;
• Understand and able read technical specifications and manuals of various plant and machinery and carry out maintenance/repairs of the equipment;
• Able to co-ordinate with vendor or supplier in technical matter;
• Effective analysis and problem solving skills;
• Knowledge and ability to use computer  is preferred;
• Good command of Azeri and English languages.
