Job title: Head of Assets and Liabilities Management in Treasury Department
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Management of current and long-term liquidity, the Bank's balance sheet risks, including maintaining the required level of liquidity, optimal currency and term profile of the Bank's balance sheet;
Liquidity forecasting and proposals for optimizing and managing the currency rate and term structure of the Bank’s balance;
Support and regulation of the Bank's liquidity, as well as activities to manage currency, interest rate and liquidity risks of the Bank;
Development of proposals for setting standard and individual interest rates on borrowed funds from clients;
Funding of active term operations;
Providing organizational and analytical support to the Asset and Liability Management Committee of the Bank;
Organization of regulatory capital management of the Bank, organization and participation in monitoring the compliance of prudential standards;
Application of the transfer pricing system of monetary resources on term active and passive operations;
Formation and management of the treasury portfolio securities for liquidity management purposes.
Requirements:
University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics;
More than 3 years relevant experience in Banking;
Ability to analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS and national standards;
Knowledge of regulatory acts of National Bank of Azerbaijan;
ACCA/CIMA/CFA qualification (knowledge module) will be preferred;
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (advanced level);
Superior analytical skills;
Strong interpersonal skills;
Fluent communication skills in Russian and Azeri, both verbal and written, English will be an advantaged;
Detail oriented and ability to multi-task;
