Position: NDT Inspectors

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Contech Global is an independent certification body that organizes third party testing and inspections. We are looking for experienced and professional NDT inspectors to join our team for supporting our projects and operations.

Job Summary:

NDT Inspectors will be performing Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results. Meanwhile, NDT inspectors have to:

 Be responsible for implementation of all NDT Inspection activities;
 Hold RT, PT, MT, UT and VT Level II certificates in accordance with ASNT TC 1A and EN 473: 2008, ISO 9712: 2005;
 Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection;
 Comply with company HSE and corporate policies and procedures;
 Actively participate in company programs, planning and strategy sessions;
 Follow and comply with all Customer standards and procedures;
 Organize work schedules in a way that all work is undertaken in a timely manner;
 Co-ordinate priority works through the inspection;
 Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results;
 Organize and report test results, perform specialized inspections;
 Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.

Preferences:

 Holding Level III certificate is a plus;
 Ability to set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment is a plus;
 Part-time work is allowed;
 Ability to travel. 

Required Qualifications:

 Educational background in technical fields
 Hold the above-described certificates (RT, PT, MT, UT and VT Level II certificates in accordance with ASNT TC 1A and EN 473: 2008, ISO 9712: 2005)
 Competent and conversant in the use of all MS Office platforms
 Strong interpersonal and communications skills
 Good command of English and Azerbaijani (Russian and Arabian languages are preferred)
 Ability to manage and coordinate field works
 3 years field experience on NDT Inspections and testing
