JOB TITLE:   NewBuilds OFE/Commissioning Engineer

EMPLOYER:  Caspian Drilling Company Ltd.

DUTY STATION:  Azerbaijan

DEADLINE:  10.11.2014

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Liaise with equipment manager to determine technical requirements for equipment specification and purchase for new build rigs.
• Liaise with vendors and shipyard for equipment / vessel systems interface.
• Coordinate with other departments for fluid flow process of equipment source to settle.
• Manage a team of vendor surveillance professionals.
• Schedule and manage logistics for vendor FATs.
• Develop/vett commissioning procedures and manage commissioning team.
• Ensure safety, environmental and legal compliance, project costs and schedules as required to deliver the new build construction safely, on time, on spec., on budget and within corporate policy requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIECE:

• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent technical degree + experience.
• 10 years drilling industry experience.
• 5 years drilling equipment technical experience.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• This position requires extensive knowledge of drilling equipment for all rig systems in regard to technical specifications, purchase requirements, mechanical installation and completion, and commissioning procedures.

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:

MS Office: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook

English, Azerbaijani, Russian
