Site Civil Inspector
Job Summary:
The Site Civil Inspector will perform all activities required to ensure that services fit their purpose and meet customer expectations. Their activities assure the quality of the site installations is consistent with the company’s policy requirements, drawings, specifications and codes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Understand the scope of work .
• Assist the Senior Civil Inspector in tracking and civil work completion.
• Familiar with quality requirements of specifications, codes, drawings and standards.
• Familiar with a variety of codes, in particular ACI, ASTM
• Familiar with surveying, drilled piers, excavation, backfill, compaction, concrete and third party inspection.
• Review course and effects of defects and inspect remedial actions.
• Inspect and issue completion certificates for completed work.
• Coordinate the issue of nonconformance reports.
• Maintain site inspection documentation.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience, preferably in industrial construction/inspection environment.
• High School Education or Equivalent, Associates Degree in Inspection or Construction Related Field Preferred.
• Team Player
• Organizational and communications skills, CAD skills a plus.
