Job Title:  Senior Electrician

Location: Azerbaijan

A vacancy has arisen for a Rotational Senior Electrician position as part of the Offshore Business Unit.
The Senior Electrician is responsible to report to the Maintenance Supervisor for the maintenance of all electrical equipment within KCA DEUTAG scope / area of responsibility and for the health and safety of all persons under their authority.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in installation, Maintenance and overhaul of Drilling equipment 5 years offshore experience at least on supervisory role
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience of operation and maintenance of automated 5th Generation Cyber rigs.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience of operation and maintenance of Variable Frequency Drive systems.
• Good knowledge and understanding of ASMH / NOV automated drilling systems.
• Good understanding of CMMS ( Maximo advantageous ) and how to Maintain the preventative maintenance program in accordance with Group repair and preventative maintenance procedures as directed by immediate supervisor.
• Excellent Communications skills: Leadership skills, Project Management experience.
• Must be willing to attend, at Group base or Client premises, meetings and additional training, as may be required.
• Must be able to demonstrate how to read and interpret electrical drawings to a competent level.
• Must be able to direct the personnel under their authority in the practical steps necessary to ensure that all working places are maintained in a clean, tidy and safe condition and all working practices employed are safe.
• Must be able to demonstrate  that all work is carried out to the requirements of the Permit-to-Work system and in compliance with Safety Procedures in force, must be able to initiate Permit-to-Work as necessary within their discipline and ensures all safety precautions are carried out.
• Must ensure that health and safety at work and accident prevention are continuously brought to the attention of all employees under their authority particularly by means of job supervision, instruction and training.    

Requirements:

• High School-Industry recognized apprenticeship or training scheme
• Valid CompEx Certificate
• Excellent English skills
• Necessary Computer skills
