Position title: Plant Director
The plant which produces “A” class lightweight concrete panels, using modern technology, and located in 15-20km apart Baku, is looking to hire “Director” to join our production facility.
The experienced candidate must have wide knowledge of manufacturing concrete production.
Key activities include:
• Plan, monitor and oversee day-to-day manufacturing including scheduling, production of concrete panels
• Plans and directs production activities, monitoring effective operations and cost factors
• Ensuring health & safety and environmental requirements are implemented.
• Identify opportunities for improvements and new systems which would improve operations with the plant
• Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems
• Communicates with and supervises maintenance technicians relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products
• Management of personnel
• Maintains the highest standard of quality and safety in production
• Manages the schedule and performance of production
Desired Skills and Experience
• University Degree in Engineering, Construction, Technical and Management
• Proven record in concrete production
• 8-10 years of Managerial experience in related field; either from the cement, concrete, building material, or relevant industry
• Extensive experience in concrete products and knowledge of concrete technologies
• Working mechanical knowledge of all plant related equipment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal professionally with all managers, employees, vendors and customers
• Good knowledge of Sales and Marketing Management
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent command of Russian and Azerbaijani languages; knowledge of English is desirable
• Ability to work under stress
