HSE Advisor
Duties & Responsibilities
The candidates will responsible for site HSE activities which include but is not limited to the following:
• Provide expert advice in regard to site HSE ensure compliance with all existing Standard, AZFEN and its partners’ Policies
• Monitor and control of Health & Safety Reports, inspections, site HSE monitoring etc. to ensure that all departments have sufficient HSE instructions to operate safely and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with client requirement and local regulations of HSE standard and requirements
• Facilitate random safety evaluations/audits on the site
• Maintain records of all safety related incidents and equipment failures as appropriate for legislative requirements
• Participate in and/or leads incident and root cause investigations (e.g., root cause, lessons learned, developing Corrective Actions)
• To assist HSSE Manager to develop HSE procedures and technical information, in direction of HSE Manager and relevant Department Managers
• Implement the culture that delivers excellence in HSE performance by developing materials for coaching, training and involving the workforce
• Prepare and deliver tool box talks and safety talks on occupational health, safety and environmental issues
• Ensure that the Emergency Response Team list is updated as per location, time period and work activities.
• Ensure through audit and inspection that all accident and near-miss reports
• Ensure through audit and inspection that site’s self-regulation and audit programmes are being implemented and follow-up actions are being addressed in a timely manner
• Continuously be aware of changing site conditions such that a rapid response can be made in the event of an accident/incident on site
• To attend to the toolbox talks
• To assist the workforce in assessment and elimination of risks
• To inspect unsafe conditions and acts
• To warn persons who do not comply with HSE instructions
• To monitor the PPE compliance of personnel, assure their usage and keep related records
• To place the necessary and proper HSE warning signs at certain locations of the workplac
Essential Education
• Bachelor University Degree
Essential experience and job requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a HSE role, especially within the Oil & Gas (direct or indirect)
• Strong communication and team work skills
• Work experience in multinational organization
• Fluency in English and Azerbaijani languages
