Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize delivery routes to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods.
• Coordinate and schedule transport activities, including the dispatch of drivers and vehicles, to meet delivery deadlines.
• Track and monitor the status of deliveries, ensuring that all goods are transported safely and arrive on time.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, customers, and other stakeholders regarding transportation activities.
• Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities, including delivery logs, vehicle maintenance records, and compliance documentation.
• Monitor transportation costs and work to reduce expenses by optimizing routes
• Ensure that all transportation activities comply with relevant local regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
• Address and resolve any issues that arise during transportation, such as delays, accidents, or vehicle breakdowns, to minimize disruption.
• Generate regular reports on transportation performance, including on-time delivery rates, cost per delivery, and vehicle utilization.
• Work closely with warehouse to ensure a seamless flow of goods through the supply chain.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in transportation coordination, logistics, or a related role.
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and software, such as 1C.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, optimize routes, and improve operational efficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with drivers, customers, and team members.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly identify and resolve transportation issues to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
• Understanding of transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
