Contracts Administrator
Baku Shipyard LLC is looking for Contracts Administrator. Salary is negotiable and depends on candidate’s experience.
Key responsibilities
Supervise contract monitoring, contract administration and compliance;
Oversee the preparation and revision of contracts;
Prepare contract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements and budgets;
Track authorizations and correspondence;
Maintain detailed and organized files;
Prepare contract change notices, monitor contractor performance, including the reporting
and status of contractor and owner deliverables;
Maintain an audit file for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules;
Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate employees regarding contract status, facilitate contractor meetings;
Develop and prepare regular reports on the status of contracts;
Ensure that contractor is in compliance with legal requirements, owner specifications and government regulations;
Perform closing activities as needed;
Track payments and deadlines;
Analyze and mitigate risk;
Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with company policy.
Key requirements
3+ years experience in a similar position;
A bachelor or master degree in International or Local Law;
Reading and understanding contracts;
Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow through;
Effectively using interpersonal and communications skills including tact and diplomacy;
Maintaining contract data and information systems;
Maintaining confidentiality of work related information and materials;
Able to converse/write in both English and Azeri;
Demonstrated proficiency using standard office software applications as well as project planning systems.
