Job Purpose:

Completes construction projects by planning, organizing, and controlling projects; completing quality inspections; supervising sub-contractors and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs;
• Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs;
• Order or requisition materials or supplies;
• Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using measuring and marking equipment;
• Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensure that specifications are met;
• Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures;
• Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects;
• Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems;
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous;
• Scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others;

Knowledge, skills and qualification requirements:

• Construction Engineer Diploma (University of Architecture and Construction); • Azerbaijan language-fluent, English language user-preferable;
• At least 5 years experience in this position;
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings;
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property;
• The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answer that make sense;
• Must be a team player, and able to work within a fast-paced environment;
• Keep attention to details;
• Ability to take ownership of duties and prioritize tasks.
