Job of a cost controller involves:

  • Monitoring the financial progress of a project
  • Computing operating fixed and variable costs and comparing such costs to budgets
  • Tracking, analysing and controlling the costs associated with a project, such as large-scale construction projects where there are multiple subcontractors, inspectors and suppliers who all need paying
  • Prepare schedule progress reports, trending charts and forecasting the project’s budget.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control or financial management
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and budgeting procedures
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  •  Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of Azerbaijani and English ( fluent ).
