Title: Design and CAD Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
Carry out any type of civil and mechanical design calculations and drawings including manual as well as CAD drawings. Supervision of construction projects regarding technical completeness and fulfillment of technical requirements. The calculations requested have to be completed on time and in compliance with relevant local legislation and Holcim standards
JOB DUTIES
• Producing graphics and working drawings for both civil and mechanical projects for later realisation
• Collects and archives all construction projects and other layout and design changes in the plant
• Supervise and control various projects so they are completed according to the technical specification.
• Deal with company drafts and technical layouts; give proposals and prepare projects if necessary.
• Train other employees on computer engineering graphic programs.
• Co-operate with local authorities for construction permitting and construction related legislation.
• Support project managers and other technical staff regarding design of all civil and mechanical technical equipment
• Be fully aware of and strictly follow the safety rules and regulations in the company to ensure safe working environment for him/her-self and people around.
REQUIREMENTS

• Civil works
• Drawing on AutoCAD.
• Steel structure works
• Mechanical drawing interpretation
• Knowledge of analysis software such as Microstran or Lira is desirable.

Education & Experience
• University degree in Engineering
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in CAD design in industrial environment
