Job description: AZERMS invites applicants for Consultant/QHSE Specialist position.

Required qualifications & skills:

• University degree
• At least 3 year experience in QHSE consultancy;
• Working knowledge of international standards in QHSE field;
• Good computer literacy;
• Good analytical skills;
• Good report writing skills;
• Good communication skills;
• Good presentation skills;
• Good  problem solving skills,
• Experience in business gap analysis,
• Experience in business needs analysis and other audit methods would be an advantage;
• Ability to transfer know-how to new situations;
• Fluency in English and Azerbaijani written and oral is essential; Russian would be an advantage;

Job responsibilities:

• Identify potential local companies according to the criteria provided by Azerms;
• Implement gap analysis of the local suppliers in all engaged service lines releasing a gap assessment report, describing supplier capabilities and capacities in accordance with the objectives, HSE, QA/QC and HR systems etc;
• Produce an Action / Development Plan which will act as an guideline for companies to bridge their gaps identified during the gap analysis process;
• Provide necessary support to bridge all gaps and monitor the process of implementation;
• Provide specific advisory services related with different QHSE issues including but not limited to: general management of QHSE system; subcontracting QHSE policies and standards;  HSE risk management processes; application of HSE best practice to identify and facilitate improvements to business processes, facilities and equipment, safe work practices; compliance with legal and regulatory requirements; QHSE assurance activities so as to identify non-conformance, defects and system deficiencies etc;
• Ensure the successful completion of actions and get the company ready for completion process;
• Conduct market analysis/surveys based on the provided scope of work (preparing the questionnaire, collect information about potential identified vendors, analyze the received data, prepare comprehensive market survey report and presentation;
• Conduct basic QHSE related trainings/presentations;
