POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Account Manager

Department: Client Services Department

Reports to: Client Services Director

Reported by: Account Executive (depending on scope assumed)

Position Summary: 

Responsible for learning/knowing everything possible about a client’s business: the Pros and Cons of all client’s marketing efforts. He/She also controls the effectiveness of day-to-day liaison with clients to ensure successful and timely completion of projects through all communication implementations.  He/She also helps clients develop an advertising strategy and may also be responsible for securing additional business from clients.

Key Accountabilities

 A close control of client’s all activities. 
 Possess an understanding of the clients’ business needs and objectives, and has the ability to understand and develop marketing strategies to achieve those objectives and a broad knowledge of strategies used in other markets. 
 Ability to effectively write media/creative briefs and judge creative work in relation to the written brief and job supervision. 
 Attention to detail and supervision of the creative works before they are prepared for print. 
 Possess people development skills that enable to train and develop the direct reports, to manage upwards as well as downwards, to motivate other agency team members and resolve any possible conflicts. 
 Developed presentation and communication skills shown through client presentations, selling creative and media ideas, learning to listen actively to read sensitive situations accurately and prepare strategy papers. 
 Possess effective negotiations skills shown through budget presentations, liaison over creative issues between client and creative and motivating the team to keep to deadlines. 
 Secures approval of production estimates and oversees production budgets and their development. 
 Understands and uses the Agency’s Roadmap process, procedures and main communication philosophy.   
 Assumes responsibility for on-time invoicing and budget control through managing purchase orders, approvals.  
 Grows existing client business by 8% minimum for the Agency and 5% minimum for the “Disciplines”
 Works closely with Agency team in identifying superior ideas. 
 Develop the Strategy for clients’ work and control it closely. 
 Prepares time plans per project, communication plans and control the executions.
 Manages the filing process of all the projects undertaken and completed.  

Education and Experience Requirements

 University Degree
 1-3 years of experience in Advertising / Marketing
    Perfect command of English, Russian and Azeri (additional language will be an asset)
