THE WORLD’S ENGLISH EXPERTS

British Council teaching returns to Baku.  We are looking for great teachers.

We’re working in partnership with the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) to set up the new British Council ADA English Centre where teachers will deliver British Council courses to adults and young learners in ADA classrooms.

The centre will begin with an Opening Term on 18 November 2013.  The offer in the first year will be general English and IELTS preparation for adults, and (from January onwards) general English for secondary school children.

This is a great opportunity to work in a small team to establish a new teaching centre. We are looking for experienced and qualified teachers to work part-time (4 or more hours teaching per week) or full-time (20 hours teaching per week) in the new English Centre.  Terms and conditions are competitive, and classes are in the afternoons and evenings.

You must a Cambridge CELTA or Trinity cert TESOL, plus 2 years post-CELTA teaching experience.  Experience of teaching young learners, or of teaching for IELTS, would also be an advantage.
