Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Locate, analyze, and develop logistics partners, both domestically and internationally to satisfy Logistics requirements.
  • Develop long-term relationships with existing logistics partners.
  • Find out the most cost-effective means or method of transporting supplies.
  • Obtain best prices amongst various freight forwarders in order to make sound purchasing decisions.
  • Negotiate with freight forwarders on price and delivery in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet both client and company needs
  • Prepare shipping, custom clearing documents and clear goods
  • Organize and manage goods and transportation.
  • Communicate with vendors and freight forwarders to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of goods.
  • Responding to customer inquiries regarding shipment status
  • Preparing and reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
  • Tracking shipment within timelines from collection until delivery as per INCOTERMS
  • Addressing and resolving all logistics / shipment issues

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Any Graduate / MBA, supply chain, logistics or related field preferred.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office / internet and email skills. 
  • Good management, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Communications skills in English & Azeri. Knowledge of Russian and Turkish is an added advantage. 

Salary:  Basic AZN.700 Salary no bar for the right candidate.
