We are looking for an inspired individual to fill the position of Teaching Centre Assistant.

Teaching Centre Assistant will be responsible to support the ambitions of our English work in Azerbaijan by providing an excellent level of services to teaching centre customers; giving the teaching team the welfare and admin support they need; and completing financial and admin tasks accurately, completely and to deadline.

Teaching Centre Assistant’s main duties and responsibilities will be the following:

• Enquiries - responding to first-level customer enquiries through telephone, e mail, social media and face to face. 
• Customer admin - registering teaching centre students, maintaining accurate records and collecting customer feedback to give Teaching Manager statistical information on customers as required.
• Teaching Team welfare – supporting Teaching Manager and Teaching Centre teachers in living in Baku.
• Finance and control systems – supporting centre staff in completing financial and admin tasks.
• Marketing – support the Teaching Centre’s marketing effort.

All teaching in Azerbaijan is delivered in Baku, so there is no regular requirement to travel.

Benefits:

The post is available for 1 year with the possibility of extension. The post holder will benefit from a medical insurance package and annual defined leave allowance.  Post will be appointed at British Council Grade J and starting annual salary will be 10,717.92 AZN.
