It is a modern building with a harmonious urban expressive design and panoramic windowed facade, modernize with all the necessary technical equipment; the architectural composition of the building is really unique and has no analogues. Chirag Plaza is a 15 - floors building, offering on 4 floors in total 34 Standard Rooms, 4 Junior Suit, 4 Executive. Each room has a unique design and meets all modern requirements. Our Business Center is located on 8 floors. There are bright, spacious premises with great modern design, as well business center is distinguished by advanced engineering systems, security systems (24hrs security and video surveillance) and communications, high-tech equipment, a private underground parking and meeting rooms. Our 2 restaurants, 1 all day and 1 roof top outlet, serving international and Mediterranean cuisine.

JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Sous Chef
AREA/DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage / Kitchen
REPORTS TO: Executive Chef / Food and Beverage Manager
POSITIONS SUPERVISED: Kitchen and Stewarding
JOB SCOPE:
Manages in cooperation with Exec. Chef all kitchen operations including Stewarding operations with an emphasis on maintaining hygienic standards and practices, staff training, and overseeing the preparation and presentation of a consistent food product which meets customer’s expectations Promotes the desired work culture of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team and Service the Chirag Plaza is well-known for
Key Responsibilities
Manages all functions of the Food Production and Stewarding operations to achieve the optimum quality level of food production and sanitation
Oversees special events and special food promotions
Makes recipes and maintains up-dated and accurate costing of all dishes prepared and sold in the Food and Beverage operation
Develops and writes standard recipes
Develops new dishes and products
Takes steps to ensure with ongoing master classes and trainings that outstanding culinary technical skills are maintained
Maintains comprehensive product knowledge including ingredients, equipment, suppliers, markets and current trends and make appropriate adjustments to kitchen operations accordingly
Develops with the Food and Beverage Manager popular menus offering guests value for money in accordance with Chirag Plaza guidelines
