Title: Environmental and QA Coordinator
Department: Manufacturing
Position Type: Full-time
JOB SUMMARY
Coordination of Quality Assurance and Environmental processes to achieve compliance of company manufacturing and business processes with relevant legislation and performance standards.
JOB DUTIES
• Manage the system of Quality Assurance (Group, local and ISO requirements including 9001, 14001, 18001 ) relevant to the internal and external quality measurement standards applied to manufacturing and overall business processes.
• Follow up over continuous reduction of pollution from plant activities in compliance with the defined technical and Holcim environmental targets.
• Communicate and execute environmental reporting to local environmental authorities and respective departments and individuals within the Holcim Group.
• Analyze results achieved, consider and propose new techniques to improve the environmental performance using experience from other countries or industries.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills & Knowledge
• Knowledge of legal requirements (environmental field), ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001
• Knowledge of Environmental Management System
• Comprehensive knowledge of hazardous materials, wastes, asbestos, and pollutants
• In-depth knowledge of the theories and principles of environmental protection, control, and measurement
• Sound knowledge of the concepts of physical and biological sciences
• Familiar with government regulations related to hazardous materials and wastes
• Sound knowledge of the methods and techniques to control air, water, hazardous and solid waste pollution
• In-depth knowledge of the materials and equipment used in the operation and maintenance of water facilities
• Possess well-organized, management and communication skills

Education & Experience
• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or Ecology
• At least 3 years of experience in environmental sector in industrial enterprise
• PC literacy on advanced user level
• Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages excellent written and verbal
