AMEC is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Accountant Assistant:

• Have more than 2 years of relevant work experience
• University Degree, finance, accounting or other related business disciplines
• Familiarity with IFRS is an advantage
• Knowledge and experience of local tax and reporting rules
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Proficiency in Azeri, English and Russian
• Effective written and oral communication skills essential
• Ability to work both individually and in a team
• Able to handle short deadlines and multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good analytical, communication and presentation skills

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• Scan and send invoices to UK treasury for payment process
• Taxable Air Tickets report preparation
• Offshore personnel timesheets review in payroll preparation
• Invoices sorting, registration and distributing system
• Sub-contractors Custom declaration checking and processing
• Invoices checking, preparation for payment process
• Assist to cost code allocation of AMEC staff for hotels and tickets
• Contract   accounting / registration,  checking  and  processing of contracts and agreements
• Filing indents by cost code allocation
• Providing subcontractors with required documents
• Documents delivery to bank and Social Protection and Statistic Funds on daily and monthly basis
• Approval procedure following system
