Duties:

  • Assisting with administration of environmental, and health and safety systems
  • Assisting with administrative maintenance of internal and external audit programs and for issue, control and close out of SIR’s
  • Assisting with administrative maintenance of environmental, and health and safety records, including Company KPI’s
  • Assisting with compiling safety statistics
  • Issuing Health surveillance questionnaire on a 6-monthly basis
  • Assisting with periodic reviews of environmental, health and safety systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and requirements and/or legislative requirements.
  • Reporting to management on the status and performance of the environmental, health and safety systems
  • Assisting with the compilation of Company tender submissions
  • Ensuring the promotion of awareness of customer requirements to appropriate Stakeholders
  • Undertake procedure and document preparation and implementation.
  • Undertake internal audits, subject to training.
  • Provide administrative support to coordinate the HS&E team’s activities, preparation of monthly reports, materials for meetings and presentations.
  • Drafting HSE Briefing Notes and Alerts, Wallpapers and Banners
  • Participate in external vendor audits and evaluations as part of an audit team.
  • Assist with the development of internal HSE workshops and delivery of same
  • Assist with HSE data for Management Review Meetings
  • Provide co-ordination of HSE performance data, administration tasks and technical information
  • Provide technical and administrative assistance on HSE deliverables.
  • Act as coordinator for incident alerts, communication, and safety alerts within Azerbaijan operations
  • Act as focal point for the HSE technical data
  • Facilitate and support HSE events, including inductions and training programs.
  • Support general activities for the HSE department
  • Maintain and improve monthly KPIs and TRIR statistics.
  • Update HSE Improvement Plan periodically, liaise with HSE manager.
  • Coordinate and maintain the emergency response folder.
  • Maintain the HSE Inspection/Audit Schedule
  • Uploading of IMS documentation onto the Company Intranet
  • Carry out other general duties as delegated by the HSE Manager

About You:

We would prefer candidates to have a NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety or equivalent with exposure to developing and maintaining environmental, quality assurance and health and safety systems. Candidates must have strong written and spoken English and be competent in the use of MS Office Applications.
