BARAMA Construction & Engineering Services was established in 1991. We have implemented many major projects in the country's construction sector, particularly in support of the country's oil industry, since 1965. We supervised several oil-industry projects as the main contractor. Our management has considerably international experience having supervised the construction of oil-refinery related facilities in Cuba and throughout the former USSR. Now Company has representative branch in Georgia and is planning to develop it's business opportunities in other countries as well.
The main activity of the company is construction, engineering, design and management. However, the Company has its origins in Azerbaijan's traditional silk business - hence our name BARAMA, which means "silk cocoon". Company is diversifying business and establishing fully owned subsidiaries in manufacturing of construction materials, tourism, agriculture, real estate management sectors. Company was certified to Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 by MOODY International in 2009.
Since 2010 certification of Integrated Management System has been applied. It combined Health and Safety Management System ISO-OSHAS 18001 and Environmental Management System ISO 14001. BARAMA Construction & Engineering Services act in accordance with required standards, abide by contract terms, condition and specific project location i.e. BS, SNIP, International Building Code, ANSI, EN Codes and normative. Company is competent to handle several projects simultaneously and therefore BARAMA is proud on accomplishing harmonious Teamwork in management.
