Responsibilities:

- Experience of setting up a new IT project
- Has working knowledge about TVs and the associated infrastructure
- Good knowledge of/exposure to managing the installation of third party software and upgrades
- Good knowledge of/exposure to managing the use of network/host monitoring tools such as Nagios
- An understanding of computer telecoms, GPRS communications protocols, and network maintenance
- The candidate will ideally have spent time working in a commercial data processing environment in a system administrator capacity.
- An understanding of UNIX administration including exposure to scripting languages
- Experience of Oracle administration and some experience of SQL
- Excellent English skills both spoken and written.
