The British Embassy Baku would like to invite applications for the position of LE5 casual driver.

The post of an LEV driver for the defence section would involve driving visitors and officials on a casual/temporary basis. It is expected that the driver will be required for between 1 and 5 days every month. This is a freelance position and will not attract annual leave or other benefits.

We are looking for a careful, considerate and polite driver. We require someone who is reliable and punctual and can work at short notice.

Main Duties and Responsibilities include:

·        You will be required to drive an official vehicle and account for all mileage

·        You will be responsible for the safety of your passengers

·        You will be a required to keep the car clean and tidy

Ideal Candidate will have

·       Experience of driving a 4x4 (SUV) car

·       Experience of working for expats and/or officials

·       A reliable and careful attitude to driving

·       A good knowledge of Baku and the surrounding areas

·       Spoken English

Salary and Employment

Embassy working hours are 09:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday but you may be required to work outside of these hours. You will be paid an hourly rate for this position based on the number of hours worked. The hourly rate is AZN payable monthly in arrears.
