MEP Draftsman - Coordinator

Requirements:

- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Professional knowledge of Revit, MS Office & Outlook, and Auto Cad
- Knowledge of Local Construction Norms (MES)
- Good knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Engineering terminology
- Minimum 5 years project draftsman experience of MEP services, design and shop drawings preparation
- Professional expertise in the field of MEP Draftsman
- Experience working in building services environment
- Experience working with international companies
- Strong Team leadership and Management Skills
- Good knowledge in Azerbaijani, English, Russian is an advantage
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to take responsibility
- Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily task

Responsibilities:

- Integration of already ready 2d drawings to 3d Revit model
- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies/tools, and controls, using Revit and Auto Cad
- Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, layout, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems
- Preparing BoQ according final design
- Preparation of shop & coordination drawings using AutoCAD MEP or Revit for approval
- Coordinate design works between multiple engineering disciplines
- Selection of mechanical materials and equipment in-line with the specification
- Supervise the preparation of technical drawings based on rough sketches, specification and calculations from Architects & MEP engineers
- Develop AutoCAD drafting of complete HVAC works including air distribution calculation, duct sizing, duct layout, refrigerant piping, chilled water piping, diffusers / grill sizing etc. and plumbing, drainage and firefighting layouts
- Develop AutoCAD drafting of complete Electrical works including small power, lighting layout, power layout, fire alarm, fire alarm, telephone, security, CCTV, MATV, lightning protection, and etc.
- Review project files for compliance with Standards/protocols
- Produce accurate 2D drawings, 3D models
- Helping to technically deliver CAD/BIM projects in the role of CAD and BIM coordination
- Able to meet tight deadlines and able to work alone or with a team
